Heavy night
Overtaken by heavy lids. The night folds as the
rain earlier calmed.
Softly the copper is set free. No longer contained
in tight coils. Gentle is the expression across cinnamon
lips.
Carefully placed upon paleness is pink
embroidered cotton. So feminine and so me. Hmm.
Darkening the room yet there in the distance
screams a hint of yellow. Ever so slight is the glow of
a lightbulb.
Now down, down fall the brown lashes. Causing
a stir as the lids open once more. Oh how the
day grows more and more comforting.
So dear friend were you able to get out and talk
to friends, to loved ones? How about the chance
to encourage anyone?
Alas if you did not, tomorrow there is opportunities.
So here I give you a hug and a kiss across the airwaves.
Take care and be loved.
Perhaps I might speak a word or two in passing.
