A roadblock unfolded

Just momentary blocks that echo
deep within my head. Slight charing
of the footprints upon a memory.
Sadness and a dark movie unwinds.

Still. Then the unfolding happens
and the lighted path brings forth.
Just a soft silence in sighs. A
welcoming joy follows through just
as I hoped.

Softly I smile in the regained breaths.
A kindness that engulfs me and holds
me tight. A warm hug that just uplifts
in the tiniest of pushes.

The gentle wind escaping from my
lips. The sound of relief exploding
from my tightened chest. Just one of
those moments where tears fall from
my eyes as I pray a small thanksgiving
to my Father, Jehovah.

One block unfolded. One rush
washed away. A softer calm is
found. One piece of joy is echoed.
The sigh of finally is exiting.
