A sight of joy

It's good to see those who once were great importance in your life, out walking with new loves and holding hands briefly.

This shows that no longer do they feel ashamed of things. And even more as it still hurt a little bit, I am saying how happy I was to see this sight.

Even though I said to myself I am okay it still made me cry a little. Then I said to myself I will get by.

Driving along the roadway, recognizing that I am so much happier with being myself and not questioning my importance to them.

And even though I was sad for a short time I still smile because I once had my moment in their lives. For me that is the best experiences of growing. 

Silly as it may seem but once I felt the happiness, the joy from watching them walk side by side, I realized just how much I have healed.

Sure I have those days of serious doubt and darkness in my life but I seek what I cannot see and cling to the best prize to be had.

So here I sit smiling and watching pieces about India. I am loving the vibrant colors and textures of food and spices.

Indeed growth is shown in so many ways. Keep growing.
