A blue midnight
Once upon a grand step was a tiny story relating
the simple emotions of rain. Falling in tendrils of copper
a wave of laughter echoed in the wind.
Softness called into the moisture and a smile
sat over pale rosy lips. A gentle sway in the breeze
and the stone grays find a glowing midnight star.
So cautious I have become of the words that
need a voice. Seated in silence I listened to the rumble
of the dark sky. Such a beautiful conversation roared
as I danced in the water.
Kindness in my Father as the lost emotions
were washed away. Ever so much the songs of the
roof, of the black clouds grand escape. Oh how I
just waited.
Hoping words were found.
Alas I just looked up. Praying for some sense
of calm. Indeed a trust I put to Jehovah. Again a
warm sadness crawled over me. Once more the
cast away, the forlorn sight was sighed.
Ah I, now, keep holding onto a necessity. Yet
is it really so? I do not know nor do I take notice of
others branching out to inquire.
Does it matter? Shrugging off and allowing
Jehovah's rain to soak me. Dampen the mood to
an obsolete thought. Distances that are found, well
I cling.
Daresay I forget, for me to cry. No reason
to for nothing is mine save the voice Jehovah gave me.
Alas even that does not belong to me.
Oh pondering as the chill sets in. A much
needed moment of forgetfulness. To erase the dream
long enough to realize hope still exists inside.
Yes I haven't given up. Yet I keep moving
because of requirements. Indeed endurance
makes us stronger. Each step of the way I am leaning.
Did you learn anything? Feel anything inside?
I hope the storm shook you. I hope the lessons
of soothing rain reminded you of tender moments.
I prayed that just one sliver of a second was of
a kind thanksgiving to Jehovah for a friend.
Indeed no ego falls here, just hope.
Standing with my feet planted firmly I look
for a smile in the memories. Is that wrong? Does
the hope for all I dreamed of inaccurate?
Ah extending my hands to my sides. Yes
a relief is displayed. Once upon a distant story.
Would you recognize blue midnights with me?
