Simple breaths
The simple breaths are the ones that hold us all
motionless. The softest of smiles that caress our
memories. Ah joyous melodies that erupt from our
spirit.
Just a moment of absolute calm in the crashing
world. So silent is the happiness. Watching. Hoping.
Shh if you are daring I am sure you can hear the
sighs fall from within my lungs. Stationary are the
dreams. Floating is the hope. Daring is the
excitement of a new day break.
Oh how just breathing can bring upon such
wonderful emotions. Giggling I step outside. Giving
thanks to Jehovah for the musky aroma of warm
rain. Softly I leaned over the railing lifting my face
for the gentle kisses from Jehovah.
Blinking now I recall the loss of concern and worry.
They echoed inside the earth and out through the
tiny rivers.
Here I am seated in my car at a gas station enjoying
the momentary peace of a soothing moist nightfall.
The play of words vibrate throughout my mind as
the people around me rush to their next destination.
I am still breathing for that I am gratefull Jehovah
gave the gift of life and oxygen into my lungs. Ah
the hope of pure pulse energizes me. Jehovah's
holy spirit drives me to stay close to him even in this
release of anxieties. So much to gather and so
much to get rid of.
The lights maintain their brightness through the
darkness. For every sure step I take I thank Jehovah.
Do you?
Ah indeed the simplest of inhaling a breath makes
little gratification for millions, if not billions and
trillions. Still the smallest of gifts are noticed by me.
I strive to give gratitude where it is due. Sometimes
I forget.
Hmm. A tiny skip in my step assures me that I
trust wholeheartedly and wholesouled in Jehovah.
Making it known that I live and breathe for him.
Do you? How about giving thanks or acknowledging
those small steps given?
Ah one day at a time the mind trickles the letters.
Every simple, positive motion begins with one praise to
Jehovah.
So here I give the entry to Jehovah and take his
hand for guidance. Will you do the same, dear friend?
Hmm. Indeed the joy of friendship through Jehovah
is breathtakingly amazing. So I wave my goofy hello
to the few I call friends. Now my quirky grin.
Off into the house I step to plead for more
creativity to become evident. So giggle once more
as I dare to ask for more circles. Smiling big and
holding my hand over my mouth to halt anyone
noticing the joy shining throughout my spirit.
Any one friend knows I cannot hide for my blue
eyes are twinkling brightly.
