Send a smile
One way to unfold is just
breathing in the great air. Simple is
the mind as it unclutters from
workday grind.
The simple life engulfs and a
huge smile presses wide into my pale,
faded freckling face. A bit of kindness
as my father, Jehovah finds me
leaning deep into the wind.
Softest of kisses cause my eyes
to tear, closing only to inhale the
coolness of it all. Shh, I whisper across
the sky. Staying motionless except
for the heavy breaths I am intaking.
Only a bit of uncertainty lingers
but then I shrug my shoulders and
press into the day.
Such warmth holds me carefully.
A heard sound of a nod. Yes my need
of a hug. So gracious is Jehovah for
hearing me. So imperfect I am.
A gentle chuckle escapes me
as the stormy grays turn into a
lightened sky blue. A softness finds
me.
The clarity of plans echoing
but not set in stone. I hold onto
the hope of accomplishing the day.
One moment at a time.
If you are with me, send a smile.
