Wrinkled sun

The words linger in the night air. The song is paused
indefinitely. Oh how time erases a memory in a
second. Why did the world stop ticking? Time stop
echoing wind?

My eyes cry lonely tears for all that is gone. Wake
up, I shake myself to acknowledge what is there
before me. As my mind is clear but the body slow to
respond. How does my skin appear? Wrinkles
over skin and bone?

I lay down to rest my soul. My eyes glazed over
by the past I have overcome. Say my prayers. Say
my courage and strength given is Jehovah's holy
spirit. Oh how my core becomes awakened once
more.

Moments I thought were gone forever, smile and
wave over my closed mind. See how a small
hope can open all opportunity. A reason and
resolution of life. A small breath I take. First inhale
then slowly exhaling. Cool breeze and warm words
caress the early morning dew.

See me smile in the quake of the rising sun. See
my rainbows just outside the stormy eyelids. The
radiant reds and golden amber waving tiny curls.
The slate not as cold and stony but warm and
sparkling. Hear the tiny whispers I rake over the
wind. Mindless of the rain to begin any moment.

Did you feel, hear the crack of thunder rumbling
over the earth? Did you see the flash of hot, white
light heat up the sky? Soon you will feel warm pelts
of water wash over your skin, your head, your eyes
and down through your fingers and toes.

Ah how does the night pause now? The words
echoing in the new wake? Does the ringing in
your mind, your heart fill you with such joy as it
does me?

Make sure you thank Jehovah for his power
and beautiful creations. (Including you and the breath
of fresh morning air you inhaled)
