Did you wonder

                 The ones that stand tall. Did you see?
The ones that encourage and don't fall. Did you see?
The ones that laugh, smile and sing joyfully.
Did you see?

                 One second there, next gone. Did you ask?
One hello, one goodbye. Did you ask? One glimmer
of hope, one shy moment of peace. Did you ask?

                 Still the raging emotional moments
torment and scauld but there is the smile. Still
the tears and the weakness devour but there
is the strength. Still thoughts and dreams
invade in the darkened hours but I awake once
more.

                Yes the sighs open. Yes the words are heard,
absorbed. Yes the songs of love, hope hold grand
memories deep within me. Yes the smallest of
gifts, of gained understanding mean the a bigger
difference for tomorrow.

                 And you wanted to see. And you wanted
to ask. And you hoped to stop and hold. Yet something
held you back. Why?

               Still did you know my weight of trials are
heavy, I will not ask you to carry them nor will you
see me beg for assistance. That must be understood.
