A beautiful memory
Silently holding onto a beautiful memory.
Unfolding the mind, a pocketful of trinkets collapse.
Only I hold to an unwavering smirk just a few seconds
longer.
Such decadence in the time that faded. So
spoiled were the wonders left behind. The abundant
love, the unbroken joy. Surely the tremendous
quivering, rolling over me, are kind reminders. Indeed
the sighs that echo to the core, my spirit are the
sounds of fire burning strong.
Softly I giggle in hope of the increasingly
darkened sky. Looking up and all around, amazed
of the grandeur in tiny specks of light. A kind
sparkle finds deep azure haze drowning in
stormy grays.
The silly declarations of explored
crevices. So much swirls inside me. So many words,
so many instant frozen frames memorize me.
Then the silent sigh causes shivers.
Indeed I hold the private grin. A sight
only seen by those who know me, one where a
simple expression of creased cheekbones. Only for
a few seconds then disappeared.
Faded before the blink of cornflowers
arrive. I lightly chuckle as I daringly glance back
once more, to view the sweetness in the moment.
Holding onto the giggles, the warmth and the
rumbling voices across time.
Yet in all here I stand, quiet and observing.
Only recognized with the hint of aqua and slate.
Did you see the folded steel flash? Ah closed once
more is the hidden bookcase. A file touted away.
One note to a friend, sent merrily upon
a whisper. A soft hello increases the shocked blush.
Only I am found echoing a thought. Do you know
it?
