Cocoon
Alas I have finally, completely exhausted mind
and soul. So smoothly the warm cocoon folds over me.
Silently the raspy heaviness become shallow and
spaced. Softly soothing the eyes to dim, then close.
Oh so clear is the rapid beat echoing inside my
chest. The pause before another exhaling sigh. Oh how
calming is the silk and cotton.
Such love, beauty arrives in the single note
of joy. So here I begin the descent into a blissful sleep.
Cautiously placing barriers and blinking back another
bleak outlook.
Ah stationed long drifts of patience. Echoing
in my mind as I begin to fight to control, finishing
touches.
Shh hold still. The eyes close. I say my thoughts,
weigh my concerns and give grand thanksgiving to
Jehovah for the wonders of tbe eartb.
So dear friend I hope sleep soon greets your eyes
and holds your curiosity. So one last good night.
